Welcome to the 15th Congress of the ISRBP

On behalf of the International Society for Rotary Blood Pumps (ISRBP) it is our pleasure to invite you to join us in Sydney from Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th November 2007 to participate in the Society’s 15th Congress.

The 15th Congress will deliver a stimulating program featuring leaders in the fields of biomedical engineering and medicine who will present the latest knowledge and innovative thinking covering a wide range of important disciplines and topics such as:
  • Advanced new biomaterials
  • Fluid dynamic modelling including blood trauma investigations
  • Novel biomaterial and drug regimes to minimise thrombosis and platelet activation
  • Paediatric application
  • Pump miniaturization
  • Pump design and testing
  • Pump control modalities
  • Clinical management of RBP
  • Clinical results of RBP
  • Physiological and anatomical correlates of reduced pulsatility
The program will contain keynote addresses, submitted oral and poster presentations, plus a debate.
