Early Bird Rate To receive the early bird rate your registration and accompanying payment must be received by 5.00pm 10 December 2007. THE DEADLINE FOR ALL REGISTRATIONS is Tuesday 12 February 2008 Registrations or payment made after this date will incur a $50.00 late registration fee. Payment can be made by credit card (MasterCard or Visa) or cheque in Australian Dollars. Cheques must be made payable to: 'Wollongong City Council' Please forward all registration forms and cheques to: 48th Annual Floodplain Management Authorities Conference 183 Albion Street Sydney NSW 2010 AUSTRALIA   Cancellations & Amendments Registration and/or accommodation cancellations and amendments must be sent in writing either by mail, fax or email to ICE Australia Pty Ltd. Registration cancellations received up to and including Thursday 24 January 2008 will receive a full refund, less AUD $150.00 administration fee. Registration cancellations received after Thursday 24 January 2008 and up to Tuesday 12 February 2008 will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be given for registration cancellations received after Tuesday 12 February 2008. As an alternative to cancellation, your registration may be transferred to another person up to 15 days prior without receiving any extra cost penalty. Transfers made 14 days prior and less will incur an AUD $20.00 transfer fee. Accommodation will not be reserved without credit card details. Accommodation cancellations received after Monday 1 January 2008 will be charged by the hotel according to their cancellation conditions. Disclaimer The speakers, topics and times are correct at the time of printing. In the event of unforseen circumstances, the Organising Committee reserves the right to delete or alter items in the Conference Program. Liability / Insurance In the event of industrial disruptions or natural disasters, the Floodplains Management Authorities, Wollongong City Council and ICE Australia Pty Ltd cannot accept responsibility for any financial or other losses incurred by the delegates or offer refunds on registration and social events. Nor can the Floodplains Management Authorities, Wollongong City Council and ICE Australia Pty Ltd take responsibility for injury or damage to persons or property occurring during the conference to associated activities. Insurance is the responsibility of the individual delegate.
