Call for Abstracts
Presentations
The organizing committee for the 48th Floodplain Management Authorities Conference is keen for speakers to address a range of technical, managerial, educational and operational issues associated with successful floodplain management. If you have a passion about floodplain management and wish to inspire others with your experiences and knowledge then please register your interest by submitting an abstract.
Some of the many topics to be considered include:
- Flood hazard and risk management
- Planning in flood prone areas
- Emergency management
- Flood education
- Climate change
- Working with the community
All timeslots are 30 minutes which includes introduction by the session chair and a 5 minute question and answer period. (N.B. invited speakers have longer timeslots as advised directly). |

Oral Presentations
Oral presentations are not required in a given format. However use of MS PowerPoint is encouraged. You should allow 30 minutes for your presentation including question & answer time. |
