| The CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS INDUSTRY CONFERENCE is hosted by the Institute of Quarrying Australia (IQA) and Cement, Concrete & Aggregates Australia (CCAA). We understand that supporting any good cause is worth finding out a little bit about the network that underpins the event. |

Institute of Quarrying Australia (IQA)
The Institute of Quarrying Australia is the professional body for quarrying, construction materials, and related extractive and processing industries. Modern quarrying impacts both economies and communities, providing the very essentials of contemporary life. |
|
| |
The professionals engaged in this industry are at the leading edge of extractive technology, while also involved in responsible environmental management.
The Institute of Quarrying Australia is affiliated with The Institute of Quarrying which has 6,000 members in 50 countries. Its long-term aim is to foster operational improvements through on-going education and training at operator, supervisory and management level. |

Cement Concrete & Aggregates Australia (CCAA) is the peak national body representing the interests of Australia's $7 billion a year heavy construction materials industry.
CCAA members directly employ 18,000 Australians and a further 80,000 indirectly in rock quarries, sand and gravel extraction sites, cement production and distribution facilities and concrete batching plants throughout Australia.
CCAA advocates the views of our industry to governments and the wider community on a range of issues – including resource access and security, transport, workplace health and safety and the environment.
CCAA is also Australia's leading provider of information on cement, concrete and aggregate products to the architectural, engineering and building and construction industries. We also play an active role in the development of industry standards and codes. |
