Geoff Thompson – Chair UK Testing Board
Geoff is the Consultancy Director for Experimentus Ltd, a leading Software Quality Management consultancy based in the UK. He has over 20 years experience of test analysis, through to Test Management and Process Improvement. He is also a trained assessor and regularly performs Test Maturity Assessments (using TMMi). Geoff helped write the original ISEB Foundation syllabus, and chaired the working party that created the ISEB Practitioner syllabus in 2002. Working with a small international team, Geoff helped create the ISTQB, and currently represents UK on the board.
He was a founder member of the TMMi Foundation and is Vice Chairman of the BCS SIGiST (Specialist Group in Software Testing) in the UK. Geoff also coauthored the largest selling testing book on www.amazon.co.uk – ISEB – A Software Testing Foundation. Geoff is a popular speaker at testing conferences such as EuroSTAR, SIGiST, SQC (UK and Germany), SEETest and Test2008 India |

Vipul Kocher – President Indian Testing Board
Vipul is a co-founder of PureTesting and President of Indian Testing Board, the ISTQB board for India.
He has over 13 years of testing experience including managing Acrobat Reader testing.
He has won several awards including the best paper award at STAREast 2006 and the Logica CMG Triple Star Award for the most original contribution at EuroStar 2005.
Vipul invented Q-Patterns, a method of capturing testing knowledge and writing reusable test cases. This method is being used by various organizations across the world.
He holds a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering and Masters Degree in Computer Engineering from IIT, Delhi. |

Chris Carter – Chair ANZTB
Chris Carter is the founder and Managing Director of Planit Test Management Solutions, Australia’s largest independent testing consultancy with over 200 staff. He is a well-known expert in the field of software testing, risk reduction and process improvement and has over 20 years experience in delivering practical testing solutions to clients in Australia, Asia, UK, Europe and USA.
Chris is the founding Chairman of the ANZTB, is the Australia and New Zealand representative on the ISTQB and in March 2007 was elected to the ISTQB Executive as the inaugural Secretary. |
