Welcome Reception

As a delegate, you are invited to attend the Welcome Reception. This is an opportunity for us to welcome you to the Conference, and for you to meet fellow delegates whilst enjoying drinks and canapés.

Conference Dinner
Date: Friday 4th May

Pre-dinner drinks: 7.00pm - 7.30pm
Dinner: 7.30pm - 11.00pm
Venue: Great Hall, National Gallery of Victoria [International]

Enjoy an evening of dinner, fine wine and entertainment at Australia’s most visionary art gallery. Get together with new and old friends for a fun filled evening and share the excitement as Trainees receive Gerry Murphy and Ramazzini Awards.
NGV International has hosted some of our nation’s most exciting and varied art exhibitions in recent years including Pablo Picasso’s Love & War; Tezuka’s the Marvel of Manga, Andy Warhol’s Time Capsules and 15th century Rembrandt. This spectacular venue will offer a truly welcoming and unique experience. Pass by Sir Roy Grounds’ original water wall, spill out onto the Terrace for drinks and canapés, and continue into the Great Hall, where Leonard French’s stained glass ceiling will provide the stunning backdrop for this memorable dinner.
The Brian Fitzgerald Band - one of Australia’s most popular party bands – will entertain you with anything from swing and jazz right through to rock’n’roll, show tunes and contemporary music.
Walking groups will depart from the Foyer of the Sofitel Melbourne at 6.45pm.
