On behalf of the Australasian Faculty of Occupational Medicine (AFOM) and the Australasian Faculty of Public Health Medicine (AFPHM), it is our pleasure to invite you to join us in Melbourne from Thursday 3rd to Saturday 5th May 2007, to participate in the AFOM & AFPHM Joint Conference
The conference theme Promoting health and preventing disease in workplaces and communities will highlight synergies and mutual areas of interest between AFOM and AFPHM.
AFOM & AFPHM 07 will deliver a stimulating program featuring leaders in the fields of public health medicine and occupational medicine who will present the latest knowledge and innovative thinking covering a wide range of important disciplines and topics, such as:
- Mental illness;
- Public health effects of climate change
- Risk communication
- Pandemic influenza planning
- Health surveillance
- Emerging issues and technologies
This unique event presents an opportunity to meet and network with AFOM and AFPHM Fellows and Trainees and others from the Occupational and Public Health Medicine sectors. The conference attracts over 350 delegates from across Australia, New Zealand and other overseas countries and provides a wonderful opportunity to meet and extend contacts.
