Member Rate
To be eligible for the member's rate you must be a member of your respective state/ territory member organisation.
Early bird Rate
To receive the early bird rate your registration and accompanying payment must be received via e mail or fax by 5.00pm or post-marked on or before Thursday 10 April 2008
Student Registration
To be eligible for the student rate, you must be a full time student. Please provide proof of your student status along with your registration form. A photocopy of your student identification including full time status will be sufficient.

The deadline for all registrations is Thursday 03 July 2008.
Registrations made after this date will incur a $AUD50.00 late registration fee.
Payment can be made by credit card (MasterCard or Visa) or cheque in Australian Dollars.

Cancellations & Amendments
Registration and/or accommodation cancellations and amendments must be sent in writing either by mail, fax or email to ICE Australia Pty Ltd.
Registration cancellations received up to 3 July 2008 will receive a full refund, less $AU150.00 administration fee. Registration cancellations received less than 30 days and up to 14 days prior to the conference will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be given for registration cancellations received within 14 days of the conference.
As an alternative to cancellation, your registration may be transferred to another person up to 15 days prior without receiving any extra cost penalty. Transfers made 14 days prior and less will incur an $AU $20.00 transfer fee.
Accommodation cancellations received after 15 June 2008 will be charged the first nights contracted room rate, in accordance to their cancellation conditions.

The speakers, topics and times are correct at the time of printing. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the organising committee reserves the right to delete or alter items in the conference program.
Liability / Insurance
In the event of industrial disruptions or natural disasters, Australian Institute of Geoscientists (AIG), The Geological Society of Australia (GSA) and ICE (Aust) Pty Ltd cannot accept responsibility for any financial or other losses incurred by the delegates. Nor can Australian Institute of Geoscientist (AIG), The Geological Society of Australia (GSA) and ICE (Aust) Pty Ltd take responsibility for injury or damage to persons or property occurring during the conference or associated activities. Insurance is the responsibility of the individual delegate.
