Call for Abstracts
The call for papers to be considered for presentation at the World Congress is now closed. The Scientific Committee is, however, still accepting proposals for papers to be considered for communicationWe .
Closing date for abstracts (to be considered for communication): April 1 2009
Abstracts must be submitted online via the conference website.
The theme for the 2009 World Congress is "the new world of work, employment and organisations". We invite submissions of extended abstracts that address one the following five themes around which the congress is to be organised:
Track 1 - Management, Work and Organisation
Track 2 - Voice and Representation at Work
Track 3 - Work, Family and Community
Track 4 - Institutions, Processes and Outcomes
Track 5 - New Forms of Work and Employment
PREPARATION AND LAYOUT:
Abstracts should be formatted as follows:
- Abstracts must be in English and they should not exceed 1,000 words (including references and appendices).
- Abstracts should contain the following information
Title of the paper
Name and institutional affiliation of the author(s)
Contact address (including email) for corresponding author
The number and title of the track for which the paper should be considered
Text outlining the argument of the paper (see below)
A list of selected or indicative references
All abstracts will be subject to a competitive review process to determine their sustainability for communication (at poster sessions and in the conference proceedings) at the Congress. All papers accepted for communication will be published in the conference proceedings.

GUIDELINES:
- Abstracts should be no more then 1000 words, including references and appendices. No photos to be inserted.
- Abstracts are to be submitted as an MS word document formatted to A4 size in 12 point Arial font. They should be single spaced with a clear line between paragraphs uploaded.
- Abstracts are to be submitted using the online abstract submission form
- When submitting your abstract you will be asked to include the following:
Name and contact details
The title of your presentation
Presentation theme - select from the Conference themes outlined above
Name of all author/s and who will be attending the conference
Proceed to upload your abstract as a word document
- Abstracts must be free of typographical and grammatical errors
