Conference Venue
All 2010 IASP-ASPA Conference sessions will be held at the Burswood Convention Centre in Perth, Western Australia.
The Burswood Convention Centre is a part of the Burswood Entertainment Complex, which is a fully-integrated entertainment precinct renowned for its world-class facilities and luxury accommodation.
Perth’s renowned temperate, Mediterranean climate and riverside location are the perfect complement to Burswood’s plentiful facilities which include two international hotels, a range of award-winning bars and restaurants, a nightclub, 24-hour casino, golf course, a 2,300-seat theatre and a 20,000-seat indoor stadium.
Getting to the Venue
Burswood is located close to the central business district and is approximately a 15 minute car ride from the Perth International Airport.
Shuttle Bus: The City Shuttle offers transport from both the international and domestic airport terminals to most hotels in Perth. The cost is approximately $13 per person to Burswood Entertainment Complex. If there is more than one person to be transferred, taking a taxi will be more economical.
Taxi: Taxi ranks are easily accessible at both the international and domestic airport terminals, providing transport within Perth and its surrounding areas. The cost of a taxi from the Perth International Airport to Burswood is approximately $20 to $25 dollars. Taxi fares from the domestic airport to Burswood are approximately $15. Prices will vary depending on the time of day and peak periods. |
