Technical Tour
Date: Thursday, 25th November 2010
Time: 2.00pm - 5.30pm
Transport: Coach transportation provided
Cost: One (1) ticket is included in the Conference registration fee.
On this tour, delegates will visit:
- The Australian Marine Complex (AMC); a world-class centre of excellence for manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, maintenance and technology development, servicing the marine, defence, oil and gas, and resource industries.
- iVEC; the hub of advanced computing in Western Australia, which is encouraging and energising research in and the uptake of high performance computing and visualisation in Western Australia.
- Technology Park Western Australia; the hub of innovation and enterprise for the State.
- Curtin University of Technology; one of Australia’s leading universities with campuses in Perth and across the State, in Sydney, Australia as well as Sarawak, Malaysia and Singapore.
Cultural Tour

Experience a taste of Western Australia, as we travel by bus to the Swan Valley to enjoy the unique local wildlife, and the sensational food and wine produced right in the heart of the Swan Valley.
The tour will include a guided visit of Caversham Wildlife Park, wine and cheese tasting at Lancaster Winery and chocolate tastings at the Margaret River Chocolate Company. |
